Assessments

“Thorough assessment is critical in ascertaining whether a sensory processing issue is a factor in the child’s development, and if so, which intervention strategies will best help the child and family.”

Jigsaw Occupational Therapy will conduct a thorough assessment for children and young people who have motor skills difficulties and sensory processing difficulties, including attention and focus issues. 

Our assessments provide a plan of action for those with sensory integration difficulties. The assessments will highlight areas of difficulties, whilst also providing an insight into what is causing the observed challenges and will ultimately provide strategies and recommendations. 

Assessments usually take place in our therapy centre located in Sussex and will normally last 1.5 hours and are lots of fun! We include standardised and non-standardised assessments to ensure we obtain a full objective view, we will subsequently score and interpret the results and provide a full and comprehensive report on our findings.
