LEA/School Provision

Jigsaw Occupational Therapy can work with Local Education Authorities (LEA) and schools to assist in maintaining a child or young person's special educational provision as specified in a child's Statement of Special Educational Needs.

Our therapists are experienced in working closely with schools and staff, ensuring that occupational therapy strategies are integrated throughout a child or young person's academic day. We can work with the school and student to develop sensory strategies which can be used on a day-to-day basis to maximise access to education and social inclusion. This can take the form of making suggestions regarding classroom environments, specialist equipment, sensory strategies and activities.
